Liv Shepherd (b. 2001) is an interdisciplinary artist working out of Toronto, Ontario. They work with varied traditional and digital media, with particular interest in figurative painting and video-based storytelling. They completed their studies at OCAD University in 2024.

Their work aims to explore relationships between corporeal and imagined worlds, truth and falsehoods, illusion and reality. Dreamlike cyber-liminal spaces form the backdrop for troubled figures, distorted and fragmented by their surroundings. 

Drawing on ideas of transhumanism, spirituality, and nature, their focus is to break down and reshape the human form in ways that mirror internal dialogue and conflicts, ways that transpose the multi-faceted psyche onto the physical exterior.
